FW 21/22 TOMORROW
No matter where you are on our Earth, the sun is predictable.
Rising over the east and setting towards the west.
On a precise schedule that can be checkin in on; “hey siri, when is the sunset today?”
Longer days over the spring and summer months.
Days dwindling in the fall & winter.
We have all seen thousands of sunsets in our lives and chances
are high that you are reading this looking at one from the comfort of your own home.
But despite the sunset being this seemingly mundane event, we are obsessed with it.
Go to any place with a view and you will see people pointing their cameras
to try to capture a memory of that moment.
(The photos never seem to turn out as good as the real thing btw.)
We look and look again because we want to believe that the sun means something greater.
It symbols a new hope, a new moment, a new chance to make another memory.
To watch another sunset.
Our lives are short so savor tomorrow.
The sun will be waiting for you.
